Christian County Historical Society announces blog

Holly Brookens shares a picture from her Log Cabin online photo album. More information and photos are available on the new blog at http://cchistoricalsociety.blogspot.com/. Visitors can view many exceptional pieces from the museum’s collection. Brookens reports that a Civil War diary, housed on the society’s grounds, is the subject of an in-progress dissertation. World War I and World War II uniforms and carvings made from bullet casings are just a few fascinating pieces of history that Taylorville and surrounding area residents do not have to travel far to find. The Christian County Historical Society is open Thursday through Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., and by appointment.
A new blog is the subject of old-school antiquity. Christian County Historical Society and Museum's blog is online, by virtue of a recent volunteer.
