Local bowler brings home metals and trophies
 | Chuck Hendricks took home two gold metals and two 1st place trophies on Saturday, August 21st, from Sparetime Lanes in Decatur. The Taylorvile High School Class of 1970 held a weekend of festivities to celebrate their 40th class reunion beginning with a casual get together at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Angelo's. A breakfast was held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14th at the Round Table Restaurant and the reunion dinner and program was held at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14th at Lake Shore Golf Course. Taylorville Memorial Hospital has just completed the 8th session of the Lose-to-Win Challenge. The winner of this episode was Laurie Kirchoff of Bulpitt. She has been a participant in the Lose-to-Win Challenges since January 2009. Laurie has been among the top losers with each challenge, having never missed a weigh-in and having lost weight each time thus becoming the program's most consistent loser ever. She lost 22.2% this challenge to win the top spot, but since she started with her first challenge has lost over 150 pounds total.
